As a continuation of the Sputnik project, a yearlong creation of daily self-portraits, Ego, Sine Die is a summary of its predecessor.
Parting from two principal concepts (the subject's search for her own identity and the body as an object of discourse), I explore, through multiple perspectives and possibilities made possible by the self-portrait, the way to show all of the faces of an individual. The result: an infinite puzzle of distinct pieces, shapes, and colors.
The project, which takes place during an unspecified amount of time and involves the employment of various techniques, allows the viewer to experience these changes on a physical and emotional level.
